Mexico Ara, Cemex announce joint project
30 August 2005

The third largest Mexican home construction company Consorcio Ara and Mexico’s largest cement producer Cementos Mexicanos (Cemex) announced a joint construction project, it was reported on August 29, 2005.  The project consists of the construction of 5350 homes and a commercial centre on an area of 89 ha, owned by Ara, said Jaime del Rio, an official from Ara. The construction area is located near Puebla, central Mexico. It project was encouraged by the rising of Ara’s home sales in 2004, pushed up by higher demand on the market. The construction works will be performed by Ara. Published under Cement News
