Dutch bank ING has sold the 3.08 per cent stake it owned in Portuguese cement company Cimpor, thus concluding its involvement in the company, it was reported on July, 1, 2005. BNP Paribas Securities Services, a wholly-owned banking subsidiary of French bank BNP Paribas Group, which acts as a custodian on the Portuguese market for the London Branch of ING Bank NV, owned by Dutch banking and insurance company ING Groep, informed that ING Bank NV, London Branch sold a total 20,684,170 Cimpor shares at an over the counter operation on July 1, 2005.
