The cement output of Saudi Arabia’s eight listed cement companies rose to 6.456Mt for the first three months of 2005 from 6.169Mt in the corresponding period of 2004, recent statistics showed. 
 
Cement exports increased to 457,000t from 398,000t, as only three of the eight companies exported cement during the period. Clinker exports registered a drop to 51,000t from 75,000t.
