Kryvyi Rih Cement (Dnipropetrovska region, Ukraine), one of the countries five largest cement producers, increased cement production by 12,200t or 29 per cent to 54,300t in January, compared with January 2004. 

According to company spokesman, in January 2005 Kryvyi Rih Cement produced 98,174t of clinker. In 2004 Kryvyi Rih Cement increased cement production by 10.3 per cent or 126,000t to 1,347,000t, clinker production - by 8.7 per cent or 74,000t to 922,000t. The works has a design annual capacity of 1.5Mt of cement.  HeidelbergCement holds 79.6 per cent of the shares in Kryvyi Rih Cement while Foyil Services Limited (Cyprus) holds 10 per cent.
