In view of the increasing demand for cement in the country and abroad, the Attock Cement Pakistan Limited (ACPL) has decided to expand its clinker production capacity from 2400tpd to 5400tpd by installing an additional production line of 3000tpd per day, a press release said this week.

 

The main plant machinery is being imported from HCRDI of China, the release added while erection and commissioning will be done locally. The plant is expected to cost around US$61m.
