Bakhchysarai-Based Budindustria to install new packaging line
23 December 2004

The Bakhchysarai-based Budindustria factory, the largest cement producer in the Ukrainian Crimea, plans to install a new cement packaging line by April 2005.   The new line will be capable of packing 60 tons of cement an hour, which is enough to meet the needs of the plant in full.   "The old and new packaging lines will be working simultaneously for the time being, but we think of shutting down the old one in a while," the insider said.   The old line is capable of packing 2 tons of cement an hour.   The new line will be equipped by Russian company Selug.    As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Budindustria is going to increase its volumes of cement production by 2.2 per cent or 10,000t year-on-year to 460,000t in 2005.   The capacity of the plant is currently 517,000t of cement.   Published under Cement News
