Attock Cement would set up the plant in Hub, an industrial area of Balochistan, with an estimated cost of US$60m. Its present producing capacity is 2400tpd, which was meeting the 25 per cent requirements of Sindh and Balochistan and 6 per cent of entire country.
The construction of a new plant, having producing capacity of 3300tpd, was started on Tuesday and it would start production in 2007. Best Way Cement has announced to set a plant in Chakwal with a cost of Rs. 7 billion with a producing capacity of 6000tpd.
