The Indian Aditya Birla group aims to ensure 100 percent utilisation of its existing cement capacity before planning further capacity addition. The group’s total installed cement capacity, following the acquisition of L and T Cement, is estimated at 31Mta. The group now utilises 80 per cent of its cement capacity by producing 25Mt.
