Portugal cement sales seen at 8.13Mt in 2004

Portuguese investment bank Millennium bcp investimento (MBCPI) forecast the 2004 cement sales in Portugal to total 8.13Mt, down 0.1 per cent YoY.

The country’s cement sales stood at 628,000t in August 2004, down 13 pct month-on-month, and up 10.2 pct year-on-year, MBCPI said. The sales for the period January to August 2004 declined by 0.6 pct year-on-year, MBCPI added.
