Hectic construction investment growth and brisk demand on the cement market
have stimulated drastic growth in cement production capacity in Northwest
China¡&hibar;s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The total cement production capacity
in the region has reached about 6.9Mt and is expected to shoot up to nearly
10Mt. But the demand is estimated to be only about 6Mt for this year and
