Cemex Venezuela, subsidiary of the Mexican cement company Cemex, had a net profit of Bs$23.812bil (US$12.4m) in the first half of 2004 (Jan-Jun), recovering from losses of Bs$8.916bil (US$5.6m) posted in the same period of 2003.
