Turkish cement producer Goltas Cimento has bought a ready-mixed concrete plant from Turkish cement manufacturer and retailer Adana Cimento and ready-mixed concrete company Oyak Beton for a total 1.05 trln Turkish lira (US$704,000), it was reported on June 30, 2004.
The plant is located in Manavgat, southern Turkey. Goltas Cimento said that the price would be paid in instalments between July 1 and December 1, 2004. Goltas Cimento is based in Isparta, western Turkey. Adana Cimento and Oyak Beton are both part of the cement division of Turkish army pension fund Oyak.
