Eurocement produces1.3Mta of cement

JSC Eurocement produced around 1.3Mt of cement in Jan-Mar 2004. The output of packed cement exceeded the 2003 figure by 14 per cent and reached 89,000t . JSC Maltsovsky Portlandcement produced 533,000t , in line with the 2003 level, taking into consideration the results of two Ural-based plants (JSC Nevyansky Cementnik and JSC Katavsky Cement) which belong to Eurocement affiliated structures. Ural-based plants made 1.55Mt in 1Q04, up 14 per cent versus the 2003 result, the press office of Eurocement said.
