Polysius AG wins new order in Saudi Arabia

The Yamama Saudi Cement Company Ltd, one of the largest and longest established cement producers in Saudi Arabia, has decided on further expansion of its production capacity.

In the middle of March 2004, the company contracted Polysius AG to supply a complete cement production line.

This new line, to be constructed parallel to the 6 Yamama lines already installed by Polysius in Riyadh, will have a rated production capacity of 10,000tpd of cement clinker and thus raise the total output from the current 9000tpd to 19,000tpd.

The scope of supply covers high-performance plant components from the raw material crusher to the cement packing and dispatch systems, including extensive factory automation systems.
