Larsen & Toubro Ltd, India’s No 2 cement maker, said on Monday total shipments of cement and clinker in February rose 6.6 per cent from a year earlier to 1.35Mt.  Cement shipments, including exports, in February were 9.7 per cent higher at 1.09Mt, it said.  Larsen shares jumped 4.5 per cent to 588.45 rupees on the Bombay exchange, whose key index closed up 2.8 percent.
