Spanish cement manufacturer Corporacion Noroeste will invest Euro 9.4m in a new mortar plant in Boqueixon, Galicia region, northwestern Spain.  The construction works will begin in February 2003. The factory is scheduled to begin commercial operation in 2005. The factory will have a capacity of 200,000 tonnes of mortar annually.  The mortar produced will be marketed mainly in northwestern Spain and Cantabria region, northern Spain. It will be marketed mainly to home construction companies for use in house-building projects. Published under Cement News
