Mexico cement output up 3.5 per cent Jan.-Sept.

Mexican cement production rose 3.52 per cent in the first nine months of 2003,
rising to meet higher construction demand especially from housing and infrastructure. According to figures released on Friday by the National Cement Chamber (Canacem) production reached 23.9Mt, up from the 23.1Mt in the January-September period in 2002.
