Cement production in Saudi Arabia grew 13 per cent in 2011. Production from 13 companies was 48.4Mt, up from 2.9Mt in 2010, according to data posted on Yamamah Saudi Cement Co’s website. Output climbed to 12.3Mt in the fourth quarter, 15 per cent up from the year- earlier period.
