In May 2012,  total Argentine Portland cement shipments (including exports) were 889,209t representing a YoY decline of 11.8 per cent, data from Asociacion de Fabricantes de Cemento (AFCP) showed.

However, the May figures were up on a monthly basis by 11.4 per cent compared to April 2012.
