Swiss second quarter deliveries fall

In the second quarter of 2012, Swiss deliveries fell by 3.2 per cent when compared with the previous year, figures from local cement association Cemsuisse show.

Deliveries for the year to June are 11.4 per cent lower than the same period of last year. This value can be attributed to a fall of around 22 per cent in the first quarter; due to a prolonged cold spell.
