New plant set to begin operation, Angola

The new Cimenfort factory, owned by the Genea Angola Group, will come into operation on the 22nd August 2012 in the municipality of Catumbela, Benguela Province, according to a statement released by the company.

According to the release, production capacity of the plant in the first phase will be 720,000tpa while the second phase – scheduled for completion in 2013 - will see capacity reach 1Mta. (Source: Angop, Angola)
