Russian order for FLSmidth

Russian order for FLSmidth
26 November 2012

FLSmidth has won a contract worth approximately DKK200m from the Russian company Kaluga Cement Plant LLC to supply additional equipment for its cement plant currently under construction in the Kaluga province, some 300km southwest of the Russian capital of Moscow.

This contract is an extension of the contract which FLSmidth won in 2011 from Kaluga Cement Plant LLC for the supply of a complete cement plant.

"The award of this order to FLSmidth underlines the strength of our good relations with the customer and the value of our long standing local presence in Russia. The order is also a good example of the general signs of a positive development in the cement market," Group CEO Jørgen Huno Rasmussen says.

The order will be booked by the cement division and will contribute beneficially to FLSmidth's earnings until commissioning in 2014.
