For the quality monitoring and control of their cement products, Portlandzementwerk Wotan decided to install a new laboratory automation system from ThyssenKrupp Polysius.
 
As from spring 2013, the POLAB ACT will replace the existing POLAB system which has been in service at the company's Üxheim plant since 1993.
 
In addition, a pneumatic tube dispatch station for cement is being installed at the plant.
