Cargotec has secured orders for its Siwertell road mobile unloaders from two Turkish cement producers in less than a month.

Medcem Global Pazarlama AS has placed an order for two 10 000 S trailer-based, diesel-powered Siwertell ship unloaders. These will be built at the Siwertell fabrication plant in Bjuv, Sweden and delivery is scheduled for October and November this year. The unloaders will be used to discharge cement at a rated capacity of 300tph. Each will be fitted with a dust filter and double bellows system for loading trucks for onward transportation by road.

Meanwhile, Muhammet Gümüstas has placed an order for its second road-mobile unloader at its cement plant in the Black Sea coastal city of Trabzon. In 2012, the company commissioned its first Siwertell unit, a 10 000 S unloader. Both units are dedicated to cement handling at a rated capacity of 300tph.

"Its unique design makes the Siwertell unloader one of the most environmentally-friendly shore-based ship unloading systems available," says Jörgen Ojeda, Sales Director for Siwertell Mobile Unloaders. "Dust-free handling and low energy consumption, along with minimal exhaust and sound emissions mean that it can be used in sensitive sites and those close to populated areas, such as Trabzon, which is a popular tourist resort," he adds.

The new unloader will be built in Bjuv, Sweden.Delivery is scheduled for May 2013.
