Philippine cement sales rose 8.8 per cent in the second quarter of 2013, data from the Cement Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (CeMAP) showed yesterday.
Sales in the second quarter increased to 5.349Mt sold from 4.915Mt in the same period last year.
Cement sales in the first half of the year also rose by 6.2 per cent to 10.136Mt from 9.546Mt in the corresponding period of the year before.
