Cement sales in Ecuador for the first nine months of 2013 have increased by 11 per cent YoY, latest data from the country’s cement association, Inecyc, shows.

During the January-September period the company sold 4.836Mt compared to 4.356Mt in the first nine months of 2012.

In September 2013 alone, cement sales were 565,775t, a rise of 8.8 per cent from the 519,919t recorded in the same month of last year.
