Fritz and Macziol has won a contract from Cemex to supply its VAS® IT-logistics solution to be rolled out across several of its cement plants, starting with Germany. Cemex will use the VAS on the basis of a tailor-made template solution which will be connected to the central ERP system.

VAS is a process-oriented software solution for the raw materials industry covering the entire process chain. Cemex selected the VAS solution as it has the ability to cover all IT-Logistic solution requirements that it described in detailed system specification. The company is now preparing a VAS® workshop to integrate the solution into its operations.

Following its development more than two decades ago, VAS has been implemented in more than 140 plants across different industries worldwide.
