Ulyanovskcement output rises in first 11 months, Russia

Ulyanovskcement, part of the Eurocement Group, produced 1.726Mt of cement and 1.45Mt of clinker in the first 11 months of the year, representing a four and five per cent increase on the same period of 2012, respectively.

The company’s sales were also ahead by four per cent, having delivered 1.742Mt  of cement to its customers over the period. There was a 15 per cent increase in the amount of road deliveries. There has also been steady growth in the amount of bagged cement produced by Ulyanovskcement, up eight per cent YoY. Meanwhile, production of its high-quality CEM I 42.5N (which accounts for half of the cement producer’s output), increased by two per cent over Jan-November 2013.
