Moroccan cement sales fall 3.1% in April

Cement sales in Morocco took a further dip in April, declining by 3.1 per cent YoY, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

For 2014, the cement industry expects another challenging year. Holcim Maroc forecasts a four per cent decline, in addition to the 6.3 per cent market contraction experienced in 2013.
