Iran exported approximately 6.62Mt of cement and clinker in the first four months of the current Iranian year (21 March - 22 July 2014), a cement industry official has said.

"We have exported a sum of 6,620,958t of cement and clinker in the first four months of the current year," Secretary of Iran's Cement Industry Employers Guild Association Abdolreza Sheikhan said.

Iran exported approximately 18.812Mt of cement and clinker in last Iranian calendar year (ended 20 March 2014), according to statistics released earlier this year by the country's Ministry of Industries, Mines and Trade.
