Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan were the largest importers of Vietnamese clinker and cement in the first nine months of this year, according to data released by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade.
During the period, Indonesia imported 1.76Mt of clinker and cement worth US$83m from Vietnam, while Malaysia acquired 1.05Mt worth US$52m and Taiwan purchased 969,678t worth US$41.7m.
Following on were the Philippines with 816,060t worth US$31.2m and Cambodia with 389,373t worth US$21m, the ministry added, giving no on-year comparative figures.
