Vietnam monthly output up 27% YoY

Vietnam is estimated to have produced 5.2Mt of cement in January, down 8.1 per cent from December 2014 but up 27 per cent from a year ago, according to the government's General Statistics Office (GSO).

In December 2014, the country’s cement output stood at 5.7Mt, according to the revised figure.

The GSO also revised down the country’s cement output in 2014 to 54.1Mt, from earlier estimated of 59.8Mt.
