Northern Cement Jordan to install new line

Saudi Arabia's Northern Cement Co said Thursday that Jordan-based Northern Cement-Jordan, in which it holds 99.35 per cent, has decided to install an additional clinker production line.

In preparation for the expansion project, the company will carry out feasibility and environmental studies, the Saudi firm said, without disclosing any financial details.

Northern Cement Co booked a net profit of SAR234.3m (USD$62.5m) in 2014, almost unchanged from SAR234.6m a year ago.
