Mongolia's first dry-process plant is commissioned

The greenfield MonCement cement plant was fully commissioned and opened on 14 August 2015, in Urgun Sum of Dornogovi Aimag, Mongolia

The new 1Mta plant was opened by Prime Minister Ch Saikhanbileg, MP J Batsuuri, governor of Dornogovi Aimag P.Gankhuyag, deputy Minister of Construction and Urban Development, G Baigalmaa, and other officials.

MonCement is a US$250m funded project by Monpolymet Group, the Development Bank of Mongolia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
