Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) has signed a contract with Turkey-based Dal Teknik Makina to expand capacity of a cement plant in the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers said.

According to the document, the project worth US$35.7m is aimed at increasing the production capacity of the plant to 1Mta, Trend News Agency reported.
