Cementos Fortaleza signs new line contract with Fives

Cementos Fortaleza SA de CV has awarded Fives with an EPC (turnkey) contract for the supply of a new complete 3300tpd production line to be installed in its existing Tula cement plant in Hidalgo, state Mexico.

The scope of supply includes:

• FCB kiln, FCB zero-NOx Preca, FCB preheater and Pillard NovaFlam® burner
• FCB Horomill® and associated FCB TSV™ classifiers for the raw meal and cement grinding plants
• FCB B-mill and associated FCB TSV™ classifier for the petcoke grinding plant.

This EPC contract includes the design, supply, erection and commissioning of the production line.

The new line will start its early cement production in mid-2016.
