Shipments of Portland and blended cement in the US and Puerto Rico in 2015 totalled 91.493Mt, according to preliminary data from the US Geological Survey. Imports for the year accounted for 9.619Mt of the total.

In December 2015 alone, shipments were 6.59Mt, with imports representing 674,530t of deliveries.

Clinker production for the year was 76.544Mt, including 6.92Mt of output in December 2015.
