Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, has inaugurated a new line at the San Sebastian de los Reyes cement plant, owned by Industria Venezolana de Cemento (Invecem).
The new line will increase Type I cement production by 1Mta in the country, helping to supply cement to infrastructure projects and the Gran Misión Vivienda housing programme.
The Sino-Venezuelan project represents an investment of US$168m.
