Bulgaria: Green Oscar for Devnya Cement

During the official ceremony held on 8 June 2016 at Hilton Hotel Sofia, Bulgaria, Devnya Cement received the Green Oscar in the Industry and Production sector – one of 13 awarded during the Sixth Bulgaria's Greenest Companies Competition.

On behalf of the company, Sustainable Development Manager, Ivaila Vasileva, received the
prize and shared that it is a truly significant achievement for the company. "In line with our company policies, environmental consciousness has been a part of all of our activities throughout the year through our various projects and initiatives, and I believe that we were able to achieve significant and continual improvement,” she added.
