Bangladesh state-owned Corporation, Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) and Saudi enterprise Al Rajhi Company for Industry and Trade have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a cement plant with 1.5Mta capacity and 330MW power plant near Chhatak cement plant in northeastern Bangladesh.
BCIC's Secretary, Hasnath Ahmed Choudhury, and Al Rajhi's Managing Director, Yousif Al Rajhi, signed the MoU at a function witnessed by Industries Minister, Amir Hossen Amu.
