Four Buzzi Unicem plants awarded Energy Star certification

Buzzi Unicem USA announced that four of its cement plants (Chattanooga, Tennessee; Festus, Missouri.; Maryneal, Texas; San Antonio, Texas) have been awarded Energy Star certifications from the US Environmental Protection Agency. For the Chattanooga, Festus and Maryneal plants this is the eighth-consecutive year receiving the certification.

Cement plants are required to score at least 75 on the Energy Performance Indicator to qualify for Energy Star recognition and must have a three-year history of environmental compliance.
