Aggregate Industries appoint new MD of Aggregates division

Aggregate Industries, part of the LafargeHolcim Group, has appointed Mike Pearce as the Managing Director of its Aggregates division, as the company looks to cement its position as the UK’s leading construction materials supplier.

Mr Pearce has held senior commercial and operational roles in Aggregate Industries since first joining in 1986, and moves into the role from his previous position as Commercial Director, which he has held since July 2015. As Managing Director for Aggregates he will focus on four of the company’s core pillars: customer service, health and safety, innovation, and sustainability.

Commenting on the appointment, he said: “Having been with Aggregate Industries for most of my career, I have witnessed the company’s ability to adapt to challenging market conditions, and it’s this agility that makes it the market leader it is in the mineral products industry. I will ensure that we continue to invest in our people, invest in our sites and innovate and to provide our customers with unrivalled products and services.”
