The new cement plant will be an expansion on the site of Akhangarancement JSC in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This project is expected to raise the annual production capacity of the site from 2Mt to 5Mt.

According to Eurocement Group, the plant will be fitted with equipment mainly from European manufacturers and become the largest cement enterprise in the region.

The new plant will be operational from 2020.
