LafargeHolcim intends to invest PLN150m (US$42m) in alternative fuel-related projects in its Cementownia Kujawy cement works in Poland.

The company will modify the clinker line to burn alternative fuels and improve product quality.

The investment will also include the construction of new cement loading terminals and the launch of a fully-automated laboratory.
