UltraTech Cement receives award at NCCBM

UltraTech Cement received an award at the National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM) award ceremony on 8 December 2017.

The Indian cement producer's Kotpuli Cement Works received the ‘Best Thermal Energy Performance for 2016-17’ award within the ‘Energy Efficiency’ category.  Alongside this, the company’s Vikram Cement Works received second place within the ‘Quality Excellence’ category.

Kotpuli Cement Works had undertaken a series of initiatives to reduce thermal energy consumption and set a national benchmark in specific fuel consumption.
