Cement deliveries in Switzerland saw a 2.8 per cent fall to in 2017 as Cemsuisse reports a domestic sales volume of 4.3Mta.

The drop follows a 4.2 per cent rise in 2016. The initial drop in the 1H17 was partly absorbed in the 2H17, but the 4Q17 saw a 0.8 per cent decline.

Cemsuisse said the share of rail transport increased YoY to account for 53.3 per cent of all deliveries.
