Cement currently retails at XOF5000 (US$9.32)/50kg bag in most stores in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, according to Alerte info.

The higher price, which contravenes the government-set price of XOF4500/bag, has been charged to customers since July 2017, reports the newspaper.
