LafargeHolcim launches its Growth & Performance Organisation

LafargeHolcim's new Growth & Performance organisation will support the execution of market strategies with the aim to support the growth of profitable businesses, leading in sustainability and operational performance.

Miljan Gutovic will lead the Marketing & Innovation department supporting the growth strategy, commercial excellence, ready-mix performance, innovation, and research & development. Miljan brings 12 years of successful track record in new market identification and strategic positioning with various executive positions at country and regional levels.

Solomon Baumgartner Aviles, currently Director of Operations in Brazil will head up Cement and PM&E, which combines the former Cement Industrial Performance and Project Management & Engineering to support the improvement of the operational performance and competitive delivery of projects.

Meanwhile, Axel Pieters will continue to lead Geocycle which supports the growth and performance of the alternative fuels and raw materials business, but also the drive towards a Zero Waste Future underpinning LafargeHolcim's sustainability ambition.

All these divisions will report to Urs Bleisch, LafargeHolcim's Head of Growth & Performance.
