Sinoma to build 5000tpd Salavat plant

A cement plant worth almost RUB12bn (US$194m) will be built in the Russian Republic of Bashkiria, RBC news agency reported on Tuesday.

The clinker capacity of the plant will be 5000tpd. Prominvest, a company specialising in the production of cement, acts as an investor of the project, which has become one of the priority projects in the Salavat region.

Following the visit of the Bashkir delegation to China, an agreement was reached on the participation of Sinoma Group for the new plant. The Chinese partners will supply industrial equipment and engineering solutions for the project.
