FLSmidth wins VRM order in the Philippines

FLSmidth has won an order for the engineering, procurement and supply of four vertical roller mills to three Philippine-based producers. San Miguel Northern Cement Inc, Ionic Cementworks Industries Inc and Oro Cemento Industries Corp have ordered the OKTM 56-4 VRMs for cement grinding purposes.

Alongside the mills, the company will also deliver planetary mill gear units and air pollution control filters.

 "This order further strengthens our position in the growing Philippine cement market and is a result of our long-time presence in the Philippines staying close to our customers. By supplying the market’s most productive and energy-efficient equipment, we assist San Miguel Northern Cement Inc, Ionic Cementworks Industries Inc. and Oro Cemento Industries Corporation in enhancing their productivity," said Per Mejnert Kristensen, group executive vice president of the Cement Division, FLSmidth.

The order, which covers various locations in the Philippines, will be completed by the end of 2Q19.
